Introduction of the New Administrator – May 9, 2022

Hello From Sharon Health Care Center

I would like to introduce myself; I am Raymond Wilkins, Sharon Health Care Center’s new Administrator.

For more than 30 years, I have devoted my professional life to the care and service of others, beginning with respiratory therapy services and emergency medical services as a paramedic. The past 15 years I have worked in both large and small facilities (and even worked for Athena 10 years ago) as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. I am very happy to be back and part of the Athena family of nursing facilities.

I am extremely happy to join the team at Sharon Health Care Center.  I love the small community feel of the area and the staff are very friendly and show the best teamwork I have ever seen.  My goal is to strengthen community relations and to provide support and ongoing development for our staff.  I have had the great honor to work with amazing health care professionals over the years and I am grateful to be part of the Sharon team.

I look forward to getting to know you all very soon and appreciate the kind words and gestures since joining the Sharon Health Care Center team!
